This intensive training given on the RUBIKA Montreal Campus allows you to discover the professions of Animation and Video Game.
PRESENTATION
The Preparatory Class is aimed at high school graduates wishing to move towards artistic professions, animation, game art or industrial design jobs. The objective is to give you every chance to pass the entrance exams of the best schools and more particularly in the fields of animation, video game or industrial design.
Program:
➔ This year of training aims at learning the artistic grounding (observational drawing, volumes, creative methods, illustration, etc.) and building your portfolio.
➔ The teaching program offers a variety of classes and workshops. The study of academicism and drawing techniques basis are at the heart of the training, allowing students to acquire a solid grounding in applied working methods.
➔ Throughout the year, students benefit from the support of professionals in the field of artistic and digital creation.

Learn perspective and three-dimensional drawing, the placement of vanishing points and the skyline
CREATIVITY / METHODOLOGY
Learn creativity techniques, develop a creative vision, a creative methodology…
HUMAN MORPHOLOGY
Learn to sketch and to perfect oneself in the representation of the body, its forms, its proportions…
DIGITAL TOOLS
Tackle all the 2D/3D digital tools: Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator…), Maya, Unreal/Unity…
VOLUMES (MODELLING)
Study of volume through observation. Learning how to make volumes by the technique of modelling.
CULTURE
Draw up a panorama of the history of the game/animation. Study the history of art’s various artistic currents.
ADMISSIONS
Accessible at the BAC level (High school graduation), from any tracks, the training is aimed at curious and passionate students, with a creative basis, wishing to upgrade their artistic level to move towards video game and animation jobs. Students are selected through an entrance exam (drawing test), examination of the candidate’s file and an individual interview.

REQUIREMENTS
➔ Quebec: Owning a Secondary 5
➔ Ontario: Possess a Grade 12.
➔ France: have a high school graduation at the beginning of the school year.
