The Rubika Prep Class is designed for high school graduates who wish to pursue careers in art, animation, game art or industrial design. The objective is to give you every chance of succeeding in the competitive examinations of the best schools, particularly in the fields of animation, video games or industrial design.

This year of training aims at learning the artistic fundamentals (observation drawing, volumes, creativity methods, illustration, etc.) and building your portfolio.

The educational program offers a variety of courses and workshops. The study of academics and the basics of drawing techniques are at the heart of the training, allowing students to acquire a solid foundation in applied work methods.

Throughout the year, students benefit from the support of professionals in the field of artistic and digital creation.

Observation drawing

Learn perspective and three-dimensional drawing, the placement of vanishing points and the horizon line…

Creativity / Methodology

Learn the techniques of creativity, develop a creative vision, a methodology of creation…

Living model

Learn to sketch and perfect the representation of the body, its shapes, its proportions…

Illustration / Graphic design

To approach all the techniques necessary to become an illustrator: drawing, composition, imagination…

Volumes (Modeling)

Study of volume through observation. Learn to create volumes through the technique of modeling.

Art history / culture

To draw up a panorama of the history of games/animation. Study the history of art of its various artistic currents.

ADMISSIONS

Accessible to students with a high school diploma, the program is aimed at curious and passionate students with a creative background who wish to upgrade their artistic skills in order to move towards careers in graphic design, animation, game art or industrial design. Students are selected on the basis of a file review, a portfolio and an individual interview.

FURTHER STUDIES

Students enrolled in the Rubika Prep Class are automatically enrolled in the Rubika entrance exam and are free to take it.

The diploma allows access to numerous training programs:

– ISD RUBIKA: Transport Design
– and many others not exclusively in RUBIKA…
