CONTENT OF THE ENTRANCE EXAM

CREATIVITY TEST 1: INTENTIONAL DRAWING

30 MINUTES | COEFFICIENT 20%

The aim of the test is to assess your ability to illustrate a statement, an idea or an everyday object with very simple and explicit drawings.

To practice, we recommend that you reproduce everyday objects in the form of sketches. We also encourage you to work on your visual memory and your ability to express ideas and intentions in visual form.

CREATIVITY TEST 2: DESIGN PROBLEM

2 HOURS 30 | COEFFICIENT 30%

The purpose of the test is to analyse a design problem and propose a formal solution (drawings of your solution from different angles in its environment), accompanied by diagrams or a usage scenario. Please bring pencils and erasers. Paper will be provided by the school.

To pass this test, we advise you to practice by imagining solutions to everyday problems and improvements you would like to make to the objects around you.

MOTIVATION INTERVIEW + PORTFOLIO

20 MINUTES | COEFFICIENT 50%

The purpose of the interview is to assess your creative potential and gauge your interest in the design sector. This unique opportunity revolves around the presentation of a portfolio. It’s also a chance to show the members of the panel your personality, your desires, your level of commitment to what you’re passionate about, and the « why » behind your application. Your interests can help you stand out from the other applicants, particularly if they are reflected in your portfolio. Finally, we take the opportunity to assess your oral English.

The test is eliminatory if the candidate obtains a mark below the average.
