IS RUBIKA A PUBLIC OR PRIVATE SCHOOL?

RUBIKA is a private school supported by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Valenciennes.

DOES RUBIKA HAVE A RESIDENCY?

No, but you will find on our site a list of residences to facilitate your search for accommodation.

DOES THE SCHOOL HAVE A CATERING FACILITY?

Yes, a cafeteria managed by the CROUS allows you to have lunch on campus at a lower cost.

IS THERE A STUDENT UNION ?

The RUBIKA Students’ Union offers various activities, among which are
➔ moments of relaxation and exchange
➔ festive evenings (integration, end of year galas)
➔ stays in France or abroad
➔ the organization of events: jams, e-sport competitions…

WHAT TECHNICAL MEANS ARE AVAILABLE TO STUDENTS?

The school has a technological park at the cutting edge in each of its fields of training. Each student has a computer connected to the Internet and equipped with the software most used by professional studios.

In addition, RUBIKA offers a wide range of equipment for the benefit of the students:
➔ immersive virtual reality space associated with a 150-seat auditorium
➔ 4K 3D relief 3D amphitheatre with 450 seats
➔ professional sound studio
➔ shooting studios
➔ prototyping workshops
➔ Render Farm

FINANCING

HOW MUCH ARE THE TUITION FEES?
Preparatory Class 5950€ / Year
5-year studies 9100€ / Year

Fees applicable to students enrolling at Rubika in year 1 at the start of the 2024 / 2025 academic year.

WHEN AND HOW TO PAY THE TUITION FEES?

Several options are possible:

  • Payment of the totality at the registration by transfer or check.
  • Payment in 3 times by bank transfer or cheque:
    For Bachelor and Superior cycles
    ➔ 1/3 at registration
    ➔ 1/3 December 13
    ➔1/3 March 16
    For the Preparatory Class
    ➔ 1/3 at registration
    ➔ 1/3 on September 13
    ➔ 1/3 on January 10
  • Monthly withdrawals with invoicing of file fees :
    ➔ 10 times for the Bachelor and Superior cycles: 1/10 at registration then 1/10 every 10 from October to June.
    ➔ 5 times for Prep: 1/5 at registration then 1/5 every 10 from October to January
IS THERA ANY SCHOLARSHIPS ?

The CROUS grands scholarships based on social criteria. To be eligible, you must be under 28 years of age on 1 September of the academic year and meet a certain number of social criteria: income from the tax household, number of dependent children in the family and distance from the place of study. Based on these elements, a scale is established and allows students to be allocated financial aid. The application must be made on the CROUS website.

ENTRANCE EXAMINATION

HOW DO I APPLY FOR THE EXAM?

You can register for the entrance exams via Parcoursup (Animation, Video Game) and via a registration form (3D Animation International, Design), available on our website when registration opens (in October).

WHAT IS THE COST OF THE EXAM?

The registration fee for the exam is 150€.

WHAT ARE THE REPAYMENT CONDITIONS?

You have a legal period of 14 days from the date of your payment to change your mind about your distance purchase (registration for entrance examinations, stay, …). To exercise your right of withdrawal, please contact RUBIKA on contact@rubika-edu.com.

➔ Bachelor’s / Master’s competition: after the legal deadline of 14 days, no refund will be made.
➔ Pedagogical Stays: after the legal deadline of 14 days, the registration fees for the stays will be refundable only on condition that another candidate on the waiting list comes to take the vacated place.

WHAT ARE THE TESTS MADE UP OF?

Competitions consist of tests of general and specialised knowledge, creativity tests and an interview. The content of these tests varies according to the course of study concerned.

ARE THERE ANY ANNALS OF THE COMPETITION?

There are no annals to the RUBIKA entrance examinations and the tests are different every year.

CAN WE TAKE THE EXAMINATION SEVERAL TIMES?

It is possible to take several examinations per year, within the limit of one examination per field. A candidate who has failed the competition may retake it the following year, within the limit of the registration age (24 years old). The only other limit is your perseverance and your ability to re-motivate yourself.

WHAT IS THE SUCCESS RATE OF THE EXAMINATION?

The success rate varies from 20% to 33% depending on the targeted sectors. But rest assured, 100% of the winners have tried their luck!

WHEN WILL THE RESULTS OF THE COMPETITION BE AVAILABLE?

The results of the exam are sent by email a fortnight after the last session of the contest.

WHAT TO DO IN CASE OF NON-ADMISSION AFTER THE EXAM?

A candidate who is not admitted may follow 1 or 2 years of complementary studies (preparatory class, artistic upgrading, diploma training related to the targeted field of study, etc.) which will allow him/her to progress, to take a step back from the application and to enrich his/her portfolio. He will thus be well prepared to take the entrance exam again.

TRAINING & DIPLOMAS

WHAT KIND OF QUALIFICATIONS DO YOU DELIVER?

RUBIKA issues BAC+5 diplomas, certified at Level 7 of the RNCP (National Directory of Professional Certifications) European Qualification Framework. This recognition by the UE is a guarantee of quality and reliability for students and the companies that recruit them.

WHAT'S THE WORK PACE?

The volume of supervised courses is approximately 850 hours per year plus personal working time.
