RUBIKA ANIMATION
NTL.1J Production of a digital animation film 🇨🇦
âž• COURSE SHEET
This training course, taught on the RUBIKA Montreal campus, is designed to prepare creative students for the animation and 3D image professions. During their training, they will learn to lead team projects in real production conditions.
âž• YOUR QUALITIES
Artistic and creative sense, passion for drawing, rigour, patience, methodology, team spirit
âž• YOUR TRAINING PROGRAM
The ideal baccalaureate to integrate a course in 3D Animation is the STD2A (Sciences and Technologies of Design and Applied Arts) baccalaureate. However, our programs are open to all baccalaureate holders, regardless of their speciality. In some cases, a year of preparatory classes may be useful to ensure the fundamentals.
For Canadian students, students must have a secondary 5 + 1 year (regardless of the year: Cégep, gap year, a year of preparatory classes, etc).
PRESENTATION
More and more sectors of activity today call upon Animation and more precisely on character and environment animation. It is therefore fundamental to know and understand the mechanisms and principles that can bring to life an environment, a character, an animal or a creature in computer-generated images.
Combined with artistic fundamentals that are related to the observation of reality, a gradual technical training accompanies you so that you can create animations and expressions that will give life to your imagination within 2D/3D software.
The annual projects allow the students to put into practice the knowledge acquired in class and to work on project and team management. A final 3D animation project at the end of the cycle will be presented to a jury of professionals.
