CAMPUS RUBIKA FRANCE

2D Animation

The 2D Animator works on animated films using 2D techniques and tools. His/her skills in writing, cutting and framing allow him/her to put stories into images. He/she then uses his stylization skills, his/her understanding of rhythm and movement to bring characters to life.

PRESENTATION

RUBIKA 2D Animation training course trains high-level creatives and technicians ready to enter the 2D animation film markets.

The training objective is to enable each student to integrate into a studio after having seen and practiced the different steps necessary to produce a 2D : animation film: script, storyboard, art direction, animation, editing, sound design… A large part of the training is dedicated to drawing practice (morphology, characters, posing, animation, …) and to the practice of digital tools used in different companies of the sector (ToonBoom, TV Paint, AnimateCC, …). The annual projects allow to put into practice the notions seen in class and to work on project management and team management. At the end of the cycle, a final 2D animation project will be presented in front of a jury of professionals.
