DIGITAL DESIGN COURSE
The RUBIKA ISD Digital Design course is aimed at curious and empathetic students who wish to accompany the development of projects in their feasibility and form. Under the pedagogical direction of working professionals, the course aims to acquire creative techniques, develop a design methodology and master the tools of digital creation. RUBIKA provides the software and equipment necessary for the training.
Digital Designers direct the 3D design of products and the production of digital decision and communication media: photorealistic digital models, 3D animation films, immersive virtual reality worlds, etc. They work in collaboration with transport and product designers to bring their concepts to life: modelling, texture, rendering, animation, etc. They become creative and technical experts who master the tools of representation and animation in computer graphics. The fields of application of digital design range from mass distribution to advertising, including the transport, sports equipment and luxury industries.
The objectives of the course are :
- To develop a designer culture and expertise
- To analyse (and write) a creative brief
- To acquire a project design methodology
- To master the tools of representation and 3D animation
- To propose innovative solutions with high added value
- To prototype solutions and test them to validate their viability
The curriculum includes 3 periods of internship and concludes with a semester of pre-employment. The majority of internships take place abroad, in a multitude of sectors: industry, retail, luxury goods, sport, transport, advertising…
